Independent Chief Inspector, John Vine also included in his report the lack of able leadership at the office and general disarray of all procedural responsibilities. UK Border Agency operations in Wales and the South West are now under the scanner for mismanagement at the seaport in Holyhead.
According to the recommendations by the investigation officer, UK Border Agency has sanctioned £2,000 as funds towards improving the office accommodation to provide better working conditions to the employees. It remains to be seen if any disciplinary actions are initiated.
