Chow is believed to be only the second Hawaiian in WSOP history to win a gold bracelet. Lisa Hamilton, who won the Ladies World Championship in 2009, is believed to be the first. “There are a lot of very good online poker players who come out of Hawaii,” said Chow, according to a newspaper report. “There are a lot of games back home. Many people come to Las Vegas from Hawaii. Maybe more people will come and play poker now (after I won).” Chow, who previously worked in real estate before playing poker full-time, now concentrates mostly on high-stakes poker online cash games in his native Hawaii and in casinos in both Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Chow previously had about $300,000 in live tournament winnings. He is now up over half a million in earnings. Chow defeated longtime tournament veteran Dan Heimiller in heads-up play. Chow dominated most of play on Day Three, but lost his chip lead late against Heimiller, a Las Vegas pro who won a WSOP bracelet in 2002 in a Seven Card Stud event. When heads-up play began, Heimiller enjoyed a 2-to-1 chip advantage over Chow. He increased his lead to about 5-to-1 at one point. But Chow stormed back during the last 90 minutes for the victory. Congrats to Chow.

Are you jonesin’ to meet Justin? Perhaps you daydream about being Demi? There are plenty of Hollywood party themes
that you can do right in your own home! So break out the red carpet for a glamorous evening for your favorite friend! If you enjoy the celebrity scene but don’t live in LA, you can still have a Hollywood experience: invite your friends over to escape everyday life and have a Hollywood theme party. From an A-List Menu to Celebrity Sightings, your Hollywood party is sure to be a hit with our easy to follow party planning tips.

The 1970s were the birthplace of many new fads, styles and foods – some of them good, some of them not so good. Our seventies disco theme party fare tries to focus on some of the better food fads of the era that guests will have fun enjoying.Create an uncomplicated self-serve spread of goodies for your disco theme party. With all the dancing and socializing, and mingling, a buffet-style setup is perfect for people to grab a bite as they get hungry and nibble throughout the evening. In that vein, all our suggested 1970s party food is personal serving sized finger foods – simply set out plates and plenty of toothpicks for the meatballs and fondue!

Think John Travolta in Disco Fever: snug button down shirt in a loud color with super-peaked lapel. Make sure the shirt is left unbuttoned at the top to show off a little skin for the disco, and couple it with some polyester bell bottoms. Oversized shades and a potential neck scarf complete the Disco Dude’s dancing costume. The best way to get your own Disco Dude outfit is to hit the local thrift store, which is sure to carry some fine examples of 1970s disco era threads. This is a great plan for a seventies theme party!

The prevents possibility of door to be lifted out of the frame. In case the security is the concern, and there are different aftermarket products, which is added to the patio door to make that more secure.

Nowadays where ever you look around you will find sliding glass doors instead of the conventional door. In fact the presence of sliding glass doors cannot be denied anymore. Have you ever encountered how many times you slide the tempered glass panels in a days’ time. Let begin from your home. You want to have your morning tea outside but the whether doesn’t permits so. Well you need not worry because your sliding glass door will serve the purpose it will bring the outside inside protecting you from the bad weather. So there you can enjoy your perfect tea with your perfect view. Next step is bath time and then comes the space constraint. Well you don’t need to have two separate doors for bathroom and toilet just install a sliding door next to the bath tub and your work will be done. It will be a great divider and barrier for your bath tub. Sliding glass door are now installed in people’s wardrobe.
It’s a great way to decide on your clothes even before opening the closet. Next step you hop in to your office and head for your cabin. Well here you want to concentrate on your work along with keeping an eye on your employees. Voila your sliding glass door will do the trick it will divide your office and keep the transparency in the office. If you need your privacy you just need to put on the blinds and the work is done. It evening time now and you need to head for the Spa for unwinding. Other benefit to Low E glass is that it can help you to reduce ultraviolet light transmission that can prevent the carpet, furniture, as well as the window coverings from fading & discoloring. Last thing to think while comparing the sliding glass doors is type of the hardware used. Most of the sliding patio doors feature single point lock that is generally the hook style latch, which locks by hooking in patio door frame. The single point locks are not every safe, as patio door will generally get lifted right out of the frame, when handle is in locked position. The better alternative is double point lock that means there are 2 hooks, pointing in the opposite directions, and locking in door frame. The prevents possibility of door to be lifted out of the frame. In case the security is the concern, and there are different aftermarket products, which is added to the patio door to make that more secure.
Well here also if you enter your steam bath or your Jacuzzi you will find yourself sliding the door. In Spa the sliding glass door gives the whole place an elite look along with being a good separator. Sliding glass doors urges the sliding interior doorsas well since it complements the doors the best. So you see we don’t use are minds that many times a say as much as we use the sliding glass doors.

The plan has received the blessing of the Quebec cabinet, which wants to “cannibalize illegal gambling”sites and would see a common electronic platform created for Loto-Québec, B.C. Lottery Corp. and Atlantic Lottery Corp., which covers the four Atlantic provinces. While a memorandum of understanding has been signed by the three corporations, details about rules governing the new games were not available yesterday, according to newspaper reports, other than some extraordinary measures to prevent minors from accessing the Quebec site. B.C. Lottery Corp. this year raised the weekly betting limit for its online games – which include pseudo-poker games but not the real thing – from $120 to $9,999 The site will require players to verify their age, limit their weekly account replenishments and allow players to “self-exclude at all times,” according to a news report. Certainly, this will be a story worth following in coming months.

The middle stages of a poker tournament can be very delicate. It’s where stacks are made and lost. While getting aces is a great opportunity, sometimes it gets too ugly. Blinds were 100/200 and I had about 8,000 chips. I raised UTG +2 to 600 with two red aces. The table was a little splashy, but this was the first 6 way hand I’d seen all night, outside of the first bind level. The small blind had folded, but the BB was a part of this hand. The flop was 2s-6d-7s. The BB checked and I checked behind, hoping to isolate against someone’s bet. Unfortunately, everyone checked. The turn brought the 5s, completing both flush and straight draws. The BB led out for 800. I called, and so did 2 other poker players. The river was a red 3 and the BB shoved all-in. I mucked and so did the rest of the table. The line was perfect for a person in the blinds. Any four for a straight, a couple of spades, and numerous two pair hands had me beat. I missed my chance to thin the field out on the flop, and I had to be OK with letting go when things got even more ugly.

According to Reuters, Genting International, the overseas arm of Malaysia’s Genting Bhd, and Las Vegas Sands are reportedly facing more cost overruns on their online poker casino-resort projects in Singapore. Genting International said that its Resorts World at Sentosa, which is scheduled to open early next year, will cost S$6.59 billion compared with the previous estimate of S$6 billion, Reuters reported. Genting had originally projected the cost of the project at S$5.2 billion. Las Vegas Sands Corp has also been hit by spiralling construction costs in Singapore, The Straits Times newspaper said on Friday. Sands recently revised the cost of its Marina Bay Sands casino-resort to $5.4 bil, according to the news agency. lion versus the previous estimate of $4.5 billion and an initial estimate of $3.2 billion. Singapore legalized casino gaming in 2005 and said it will allow two multi-billion-dollar casinos to be built as part of an plan to double annual visitor arrivals to 17 million by 2015. Well, if you a poker player in Singapore don’t be too disappointed: you still have online poker!

Poker is an incredibly complex game-there are so many nuances and strategies that trying to remember them all every time you play will often overwhelm you. I used to find myself going over endless mental notes when I drove up to a venue to play poker, only to find myself forgetting everything by the time I sit down at a table. Over the years, I’ve found that remembering a few basic strategies that I think are vital is enough to get me by. If I focus on just a few important basics, I’m not overwhelmed with information. I can play with good fundamentals and recall specific strategies as the need arises.

My number one rule of poker online tournaments is to start slowly. When the game begins, I play tight poker online, only playing the best starting hands. Since I’m mostly folding in the beginning, I get to observe my opponents and figure out what kind of players they are. Also, as the game progresses, I will start use my tight reputation to my advantage. By the time the blinds are worth stealing, my opponents think that I only play with premium cards. Since they’re prone to folding to me when I raise, I find that I can bluff with some success later in the tournament.

Setting Up for live wedding music is just one of about a millionprojects facing brides and wedding planners. Between flowers, photographers, venues, gowns, parties, rings, video recording, and more, even a little and subdued wedding makes for a tremendous amount of planning. It can be a trying time because if even one of these areas falls through the cracks, your big day can end up being a super disappointment.

Here are five hints to hiring live wedding instrumentalists for your wedding and reception:

1. Make sure you engage a band with a established track record of professionalism. Does the handler return your phone calls promptly? Does the dance band have a web site? Business cards? Other marketing materials? Or do you get the feeling you’re speaking to a guy rehearsing in his garage with his pals? The way the band presents itself as you begin speaking with them is a great indicator of how they’ll come on (or not!) on your special day.

2. Punctuality is important. When you set an date to meet in person or on the telephone, it’s like a mini-contract. If the band manager is late to meet with you, it’s a warning sign that they don’t take their agreements earnestly. If they can’t come through on time in the preparation phase, what other understandings will they abandon with you on your wedding day? This carries on to you, likewise – being prompt is just one way you can live a life that shows that you respect your commitments.

3. Make sure the band is easy-going rather than being a bunch of prima donnas. By now you’ve probably heard a million Bridezilla jokes, even if you’re not hard-to-please or excessive. Imagine engaging the equal in craziness for your wedding band. The last thing you need on your wedding day is to have to wait on your musicians hand and foot, bringing them food and beverage, having the thermostat changed for them, or tending to other exacting demands. The greatest band for you is one that can take care of itself, one that’s easy to get along with, and one that does all it can to make sure your day is effortless and fun for you.

4. Charter a wedding band that’s fun. Getting hitched is one of the biggest decisions you’ll ever make. It’s serious business. The music on your wedding day should be glorious and fun. You don’t want to see your guests inattentive, spaced-out, and wishing the event was done with. You want them up, dancing, singing, and grinning. If you pick out a live wedding music band well, your choice will do a lot to make your wedding day memorable in a good way. This is the big day you’ve been looking for, and music is such a important part of it. Make sure you hire a dance band that makes the day ideal – pleasurable for you and your guests.

In poker tournaments, players inevitably find themselves in “coin flip” situations. These are the instances when a player with a good made hand, like pocket Jacks, bets and gets called by someone with two over-cards, like Ace Queen.

These situations can’t be completely avoid in online poker tournaments because the escalating blinds force players to take a stand. Is there any way to finesse the coin flip scenario?

Because the outcome of a coin flip is about 50/50, getting all your chips into one is a potential way to double up or end your tournament life. A 50 percent chance of winning is not considered good odds, so you have to be very judicious about when to engage in the coin flip confrontation, and take charge. The best way to take charge is to be the aggressor and force your opponent to take a defensive position and make a decision. By doing so, you create fold equity for yourself – your opponent may simply fold and you win the pot.

If you are called, you’ve still got a 50 percent chance to finish first. By putting your opponent on the spot, you have a better chance of winning. And conversely, you want to avoid those flip decisions where you have to respond with a call. You are immediately at a disadvantage without the fold equity enjoyed by the aggressor.

When you play in tournaments, you cannot always avoid the heads-up coin flip situation, so look for the opportunity where you can be the aggressor. Remember this when you play poker online.
